Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has offered seats to the Congress party in the upcoming state elections. Yadav, who is the president of the Samajwadi Party, made the offer in a bid to form a united front against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.

Yadav stated that he is open to giving Congress a certain number of seats in the alliance, as he believes that a united opposition is necessary to defeat the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. He has also expressed willingness to work with other opposition parties to form a strong coalition ahead of the elections.

The Congress party has not yet responded to Yadav’s offer, but the possibility of a united opposition front in Uttar Pradesh could significantly impact the outcome of the state elections. It remains to be seen how the various parties will come together to challenge the BJP in the upcoming polls.
