Several harmed as boiler blast in NTPC’s Unchahar plant

LUCKNOW: A boiler in the NTPC’s Unchahar plant at Raebareli exploded today leaving scores of individuals harmed, police said.

SP Shivhari Meena revealed that as indicated by introductory reports “50-60 people suffered injuries” because of the blast. details are yet to receive, he said.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was away in Mauritius on a three-day official visit, ordered that essential advances to be taken for rescue and relief.

“The chief minister has taken discernment of the Unchahar mishap and has directed principal secretary (home) to guarantee that all steps are taken for rescue and relief,” principal secretary (information) Awanish Awasthi, who is going with Adityanath said.
