Mumbai, ANI. The Uddhav Thackeray-led government in Maharashtra will have to prove its majority in the assembly today. The Shiv Sena and NCP have issued a whip to their MLAs, directing them to be present in the assembly today. At the same time, Shiv Sena leader Sanyaj Raut has tweeted and claimed the support of more than 170 MLAs. He tweeted that the day of proving majority today 170 +++++. Wrote further that we cannot eradicate this world, we have the time to establish our own… we have not had time.

All three parties have so many MLAs

In Maha Vikas Aghadi, a coalition of three parties (Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena), Shiv Sena has 56 MLAs, NCP has 54 and Congress has 44 MLAs. The majority figure to prove the majority is 145 whereas, the Grand Alliance has 154 MLAs. After this, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly will be elected on Sunday itself. At the same time, the opposition leader will also be announced. On Sunday, the Governor will also give his address. The majority will be proved at 2 pm today.
